Robert Patten is a web developer with more than 10 years of journalism experience. He has two bachelor's degrees: English and information technology specializing in software.
Before coming to EastIdahoNews.com, he managed the websites of two other east Idaho news organizations. His duties at EastIdahoNews.com include coding, editing, laying out pages and articles, ad trafficking, writing, and doing whatever else needs to be done.
In his spare time, he likes to work on various programming projects, compose music on the computer, write fiction and play old computer games (with or without his Apple IIc). He has a Safe For Work horror podcast called Uncle Bob's Campfire, which he doesn't mention in polite company.
He also enjoys spending time with his wife and children at their home in Rexburg.
